The blog that I want to review was written by The Blonde Abroad. The title of the blog is How to Become a More Water-Conscious Traveler.
In the opening of the blog, the writer shares their experience living in Cape Town, where one million homes did not have access to running water at that time. People were instructed to use only greywater (water that has already been used once) for flushing toilets.
Because of the experiences the writer has had, they want to give tips for being more water-conscious, especially when traveling. The tips they provide include: shower less often, simplify your sanitizing, reuse towels, skip rooms cleaning when traveling, doing laundry, shop for fabrics that use less water, reduce your indirect water footprint.
The advantage of this blog is that the author explains in detail why these tips are useful for saving water. The language used by the author is pleasant, making it easy to understand. However, a drawback of this blog is that these tips may not be applicable in all travel destinations, such as Indonesia. In tropical climates like Indonesia, people tend to shower more than once a day, so showering less often may not be suitable in this country.
